Spring Kickoff This Saturday!

Don’t forget to join us for our annual Spring Kickoff at the Farmers Market this Saturday, March 8th, from 9am-1pm! Join our Farm Team, local vendors, and the entire community for a morning packed with outdoor activities for all ages. You’ll have a chance to try your hand at our farm games (complete with giveaways!) or get your face painted before you head to the bounce house. If gardening is more your speed, you can browse our plant sale before you pop over to meet our farm goats and chickens. This event is free of charge and open to the public so feel free to invite your friends and family. We look forward to seeing you there!

We have a few spots remaining in our Spring Break Day Camp if you’re looking for a fun and interactive outdoor experience for your kiddos! Harvest Green residents aged 8-12 years are invited to join us on the farm on Wednesday, March 12th from 8am-12:30pm for a morning packed with farm activities. We’ll start the morning by feeding our goats and chickens followed by egg collecting, planting, and harvesting. We’ll cap the morning off with a hands-on cooking demonstration and lunch featuring the veggies they harvest. This event is exclusively for Harvest Green residents that are 8-12 years old. If you want to grow a garden this spring but are feeling overwhelmed and not sure where to start, we have just the remedy: our Seasonal Gardening Series coming up on Sunday, March 16th from 1-2pm! Join Farmer Nathan to learn how to learn how to prepare for the spring growing season by beginning or expanding your home gardening skills. This hour-long class will discuss which staple crops grow well in our climate and how to prep your garden in order to welcome an abundant harvest. Attendees will gain hands-on planting experience along with a taste test of what’s currently in season on the farm. This class is open to the public and space is limited in order for us to provide the best experience possible. Head here to secure your spot.
