Spring Kickoff on March 8th and No Market this Weekend
February 20th, 2025

With the weekend swiftly approaching, we have a couple of announcements regarding some scheduled events. We will not be holding our Farmers Market on Saturday due to inclement weather. We’ll see you next Saturday, March 1st for what should be much warmer weather! Our Farm Tour on Sunday at 1pm will be taking place as scheduled but it is now Sold Out. If you have signed up, we'll see you soon and are super excited to show you all of the newly planted tomatoes in the high tunnel! Our Farm Tours are free of charge but we do set a limit so we can make sure to deliver the best experience possible for everyone in attendance. Sign up here for our next Farm Tour in March.

It might not feel like it this week but spring will be here before you know it! In order to celebrate its arrival, we’ll be hosting our annual Spring Kickoff at the Farmers Market on Saturday, March 8th from 9am-1pm. Join us, our market vendors, and the community for a fun-filled day of outdoor activities that celebrate the new life and energy that accompanies the arrival of spring. There will be a bounce house, face painting, farm games, and a meet-and-greet with our farm animals. We hope to see you there!

The greenhouse is looking mighty verdant at the moment! In order to gear up for spring, we’ve been planting up a storm. Some of these plants will be going in the tunnels or field while others are earmarked for our plant sale at the Farm Stand. Beginning on Saturday March, 8th at the Spring Kickoff, you’ll be able to purchase plants for your home garden at the Farm Stand. All of these plants are grown organically and will be available throughout the month of March. You can expect to see varieties of tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, basil, eggplant, and winter and summer squashes.
