November Farmers Markets

Happy November!


This month our schedule will be affected by the Thanksgiving holiday. Here are the market dates for this month: Saturday, November 2nd, 9th, and 16th from 9am-1pm. Please note that there will NOT be a market on Saturday, November 23rd or 30th. 


Here's what you can find at the Farm Stand this weekend: Head Lettuce, Salad Mix, Kale, Mustard Greens, Komatsuna, Tokyo Bekana, Collard Greens, Swiss Chard, Pac Choi, Tatsoi, Spicy Greens Mix, Arugula, Roselle Pods, Black Radish, Watermelon Radish, Radishes, Hakurei (Salad) Turnips, Jalapeno Peppers, Banana Peppers, Okra, and Oregano.

Special Thanksgiving Holiday Market

Join us at the Farmhouse the Tuesday before Thanksgiving to shop for all of the holiday essentials at our Veggie Stand and local artisanal vendor booths! In addition to our produce you'll be able to stock up on coffee beans, eggs, bread, and much more for holiday meals and gifting. This special market takes place on Tuesday, November 26th from 5-8pm at The Farmhouse (3400 Harvest Corner Drive). All are welcome to attend! 

Crop of the Month: Watermelon Radishes

Watermelon radishes are in season! While this radish variety is an unassuming shade of pale green or white on the outside, it has a striking magenta-colored interior. These radishes have a crisp texture with a peppery bite that is also mildly sweet. They make great pickles and look beautiful when thinly sliced and added to salads. Watermelon radishes can also be roasted or braised for a delicious side dish. Here are some recipes to lend culinary inspiration:
