July Farmers Markets

Happy July!

Here are the market dates for this month: Saturday, July 6th, 13th, 20th, and 27th from 9am-12pm. 

Here's what you can find at the Farm Stand this weekend: Korean Melon, Watermelon, Malabar Spinach, Okra, Long Beans, Bitter Melon, Striped Armenian Cucumbers, Cucumbers, Shishito Peppers, Assorted Sweet Peppers, Assorted Hot Peppers, Italian Eggplant, Asian Eggplant, Zucchini, Tromboncino Squash, Butternuts, Onions, Basil, and Cut Flowers.

Vendor of the Month: Anna's Sourdough

Meet one of our newest market vendors, Anna's Sourdough! They pride themselves on using only the best organic and whole ingredients for their sourdough bread. They believe that you should be familiar with the ingredients in what you eat, so they keep it simple but delicious. Make sure to snag a loaf or two from them at the Farmers Market this month!

Crop of the Month: Korean Melons

Korean melons are back in season! This melon variety is much smaller in size compared to a watermelon and has an oblong shape. It is bright yellow in color with longitudinal white stripes. Both the skin and flesh of Korean melons are edible and have a moderately sweet, almost pear-like flavor.  Here are a few recipes to lend some culinary inspiration:
