Happy April! 


Here are the market dates for this month: Saturday, April 5th, 12th, 19th, and 26th from 9am-1pm.


Here's what you can find at the Farm Stand this weekend: Salad Mix, Romaine Lettuce, Celery, Fennel, Cilantro, Parsley, Oregano, Rosemary, Garlic Chives, Spring Onions, Baby Leeks, Collards, Swiss Chard, and Chicory Greens


Event: Shred & Books Market - Saturday, April 12th from 9am-1pm

Support local authors and artisans at our Book Fair and Farmers Market! Take a walk through the farm to visit your favorite local authors and browse the market to find home goods and food items. There will also be a shred truck stationed at the market site for you to bring old documents for safe and confidential shredding.


Vendor of the Month: Sendero

Sendero is a family owned company located right here in Richmond, Texas. They have now expanded to two booths at the market with one focusing on honeys and salsas while the other features goat milk soaps. We love using their honey in dressings to enjoy with our salad mix and romaine lettuce! Make sure to stop by both of their booths this month! 


Crop of the Month: Summer Squashes

Summer squashes like zucchini, patty pan, and yellow squash are among the first spring crops to trickle in, quickly becoming very abundant. These tender squashes can be eaten both raw and cooked and typically have a mildly sweet and nutty flavor. Here are some recipes to lend culinary inspiration:
